This Privacy Policy explains how Aletheia Wellness LLC (“Aletheia,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit aletheiapeptides.com, open an account, or place an order. It also explains the choices and rights you have. We sell to customers in the United States only, and this policy is written for United States law.

2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account and identity details: name, email address, telephone number, password (stored as a one-way hash), and the research-use attestation you accept, together with the date and time you accepted it.
- Order details: the products you order, billing and shipping addresses, order history and order notes.
- Communications: messages you send through our contact and complaints form or by email, including any order number you quote.
- Affiliate applications: if you apply to our affiliate programme, the details you submit on that form.
Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed and the time of your visit, collected through standard web-server logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies: described in section 6 and in our Cookie Policy.
Payment information
We do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code. Payment details are entered directly with our payment processor, which handles them under its own privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation of payment, the last four digits of the card, and the billing name and address.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as health information, government identifiers, precise geolocation, or information about anyone under 18.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and verify that you are an eligible research purchaser
- To process, ship and provide customer service for your orders, and to send transactional emails about them
- To respond to your messages, complaints and Certificate of Analysis requests
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and orders that breach our Terms of Sale
- To keep the records that tax, accounting and product-traceability rules require us to keep
- To operate, secure and improve the website
- To send marketing email only if you have asked for it, and always with an unsubscribe link
4. How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who act on our instructions, and only as needed for the purposes above:
- Payment processing: our payment processor, to take payment and screen for fraud
- Shipping: the carrier delivering your order, which receives your name, address and telephone number
- Fulfilment: the facility that packs and dispatches orders on our behalf
- Email delivery: the service that sends our order, account and support emails
- Hosting and security: our web host and content-delivery network, which process technical data to serve and protect the site
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to respond to a lawful request from a public authority, to enforce our Terms of Sale, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Aletheia, our customers or others. If Aletheia is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer to the new owner under this same policy.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
5. How long we keep information
- Order records and research-use attestations: seven years from the date of the order, to meet tax, accounting and product-traceability obligations
- Account details: for as long as your account is open, then deleted or anonymised within 90 days of closure, except where an order record must be kept
- Support and complaint correspondence: three years from the last message
- Server logs: up to 90 days
Research verification records. When you complete our researcher verification, create an account or place an order, we record the date and time, the researcher type you selected, the statements you agreed to, your IP address, your browser and device type, and the page you were on. We keep these records for three years as evidence of research-use acknowledgment, then delete them.
6. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your cart, and record that you have accepted the research-use notice; the site cannot work without them. Optional cookies record how you arrived at the site (for example, from a search engine or an affiliate link) so that we can attribute orders. Optional cookies are not set until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer. We honour the Global Privacy Control browser signal and treat it as a request to opt out of optional cookies. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.
7. Security
All traffic to the site is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Access to customer records is restricted to staff who need it to fulfil orders and answer enquiries. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will notify you and any regulator as the law requires if a breach affects your information.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your information, subject to the records we are required to keep
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do none of these, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right is yours regardless.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
To exercise a right, email privacy@aletheiapeptides.com from the address on your account, or write to the postal address above. We will confirm your identity by matching the request to the account details we hold, and we will respond within 45 days; if we need longer we will tell you why. You may authorise an agent to act for you if the agent provides written proof of that authority. If we refuse a request, we will explain why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will answer the appeal within 45 days and tell you how to contact your state attorney general if you remain dissatisfied.

California residents
This section is our notice at collection under the California Consumer Privacy Act. In the preceding twelve months we have collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers (name, email, telephone, IP address, account credentials); customer records (billing and shipping address, order history); commercial information (products purchased); internet activity (pages viewed, referring site); and geolocation at the level of your postal address. We collect them for the purposes in section 3, share them only as described in section 4, and keep them for the periods in section 5. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so we do not offer a “Do Not Sell or Share” link. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose other than completing your order. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal. California residents may exercise the rights in section 8 by email or post as described above.
9. Children
This site and our products are for adults aged 21 and over who purchase for laboratory research. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Marketing email
We send marketing email only to people who have asked for it. Every marketing message includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on opt-outs within ten business days. Transactional emails about your account and orders are sent regardless, because they are part of the service.
11. Links to other sites
Our site may link to other websites, including our payment processor and carriers. Their privacy practices are their own, and this policy does not cover them.
12. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
